About Us and Our Mission

The City of Bainbridge Housing Authority is committed to providing safe, sanitary, and affordable housing to low-income eligible individuals and families in an ethical, non-discriminatory, efficient, and professional manner. We will promote upward mobility to foster self-sufficiency and enrich the quality of life in our community.

We Are

a public housing agency located in Bainbridge, Georgia. We provide housing to eligible low-income families, the elderly, and persons with disabilities within Bainbridge. To keep rent low, the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) subsidizes based on individual incomes.

Eligibility is determined on annual gross income, family composition, and U.S. citizenship or eligible immigration status. To determine income eligibility, we use standards that are set each year by HUD and are unique to our area based on family size.
